The problem with basketball...

We have very good players on our team. The problem is that we do NOT have an alpha dog, take charge scorer like KJ was. Jaron has the heart but not the ability. We need a guy who is comfortable taking the big shot and can succeed (occasionally at least).

A big time shooter is not going to come to play at Clemson due to Brownell's defense first mantra. I was expecting Devoe to be that guy possibly but he can not shoot a decent percentage and it appears that it has become a mental thing for him now.

With all the big time programs in the ACC I would like to do something a little different to attract crowds and interest in Tiger basketball.

So you want to do something different to attract crowds,and interest!
Crowds aren't the answer.Interest isn't either.
The problem right now is winning,or lack therefore.
Correct that issue,and maybe the crowds,and the interest will return.
For some of us,driving 30+ miles to Greenville just to see a second half rally fall short
for the umpteenth time just isn't feasible,or in the pocketbook.

P.S. And it's going to take more than just one guy who can just occassionally
take the big shot to win.

More Clemson fans live in Greenville than Clemson.


There is no 30 minute drive.
