Really. He has looked at strike 3 way too many times this year. Can someone please explain to me why he would be hitting in the 2 hole??? That's a real head scratcher to me.

lol - hitting less than .200 in this series, and watches too many good balls go by, I have to wonder the same thing. You beat me to it about White at #2 hitter. I'd have him at #9 if he were even in the game. He's made his share of errors too, so I don't get it. He looks to have all the potential, but can't seem to turn his potential into actual positive output. We could use his bat if he would use it.

Monte moved him to the 2 hole when Seth was out for bereavement during the mid week games. He did okay and I assume was trying to get him better pitches with Okey and Beer behind him. I don't think Monte meant for him to just look at them though.

He had a good year last year. He hasn't been the same this year though and I can't tell if his batting is affecting his fielding or vice versa.

I would move him back to 7 or 8 and move Williams to 2. He's been coming on lately. Or see how Greene does there and bat Eli 8 or 9.
