The officiating was the most disappointing part of the game

Nov 26, 2018, 11:07 AM

It probably added at least 100 yards of offense for the gamecocks when you look at the BS PI call and the call that extended their drives when they were stopped on 3rd down.

The biggest one was the call on Amari. Had that phantom OPI not been called it would have been Clemsons best offensive game ever breaking the 756 yards against wake in '81. All that was needed was 12 more yards.

It really seems to be that the officiating has been very terrible against this team all season, getting very few favorable calls and a ton of 'WTH' moments, and a bunch of missed calls.

Just curious anyone have a stat on how many times our d-line has been held and the other team was actually flagged for it this entire season?

Saturday was as bad as the A&M game.***

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

I think the holding call total is 4 (based on my memory).

Two were called on NC State, and I think 2 on Duke.

I said it before and I will say it again...

the offensive PI call and the defensive PI call were two of the absolute worst calls I have seen all year.

I won't even get into all of the holding that was not called on the u5c offensive line.
