Great first year DJing DV! It really makes the pregame & half time so fun & swag! I imagine you & the staff will be brainstorming in the offseason about all the additional cool stuff you can add to your show....like, wish we could put a much bigger screen over the East Zone!

I guess I am too old to ever understand the appeal of rap

But even as rap goes, this is pretty weak.

Like it - "working" is apt description for effort put into

winning! Maybe the championship rap could substitute the word winning for working?

The lyrical sentiment is cool, but like 99.9% of "rap"...
Nov 23, 2015, 10:13 PM

...it's gutter ball thug crap. It's not music and actually doesn't even pretend to be. This stuff isn't anywhere close to mainstream so not sure why it's pushed out to the masses at the games like it is.
Yep Dabo at least pretends to go along with it.

Your opinion is your opinion, but if you're too old to understand the hip-hop culture and music, maybe you shouldn't embarassing yourself like that.
I've been heavily into rap and hip-hop since 1979. I am not now, nor have I ever been, a thug. Go back to the Lawrence Welk.

What was wrong with the band playing Chicago songs?

Or Lee Greenwood?
That's music, and we won plenty with it.

Not a big fan of the track (it's "ok") but I'd take it over anything by Chicago or Lee Greenwood. Whatever floats your boat, I guess.

I'd agree completely, except that I'm old and white. That, plus I've been hippie hopping since 1979.
If you like DJ Sha, check out DJ Scientist. He's usually on Hot 98.1 at some point on Friday or Saturday night.

The coolest thing is, Clemson has a lot of different music tied to

the program....there's something for all listeners....rap, rock, soul, the music from Tiger marching band....it's all there and we all come together to enjoy it and the overall experience at DV! Thank you DJ Sha for putting it all together to make DV shake....bring it on strong next year! By the way, We Too Deep is awesome and if you don't understand why then you are clueless.

Funny story for DJ Sha
Dec 14, 2015, 10:37 AM
|
|
I have two boys--3 & 4 yrs old. Like most brothers, they fight constantly and just seem to take pleasure in bothering each other. I generally serve as referee.
Well, last night my older son was playing with a toy in the living room. On que, his little brother immediately started interfering with his plans. From another room in the house, I heard my oldest say (in a high pitched angelic voice) "don't bother me, I'm work'n.... Don't bother me, I'm work'n..."
Classic!
