Wonder if he gets drafted

I'm surprised he is still on the board, he has that size the NFL likes for stuffing the run. He will get selected. We still have Huggie, Renfrow, Mitch, Tre, all should go soon, I hope!

The league wants rangy LBs now though. Tre Lamar

will almost never see the field on passing downs. He's a great run stuffer, but he's too big and slow to cover the field effectively.

Simple, move him to DE. He is big enough. Tre is 6-3 253,

which is bigger than Bama's DE Christian Miller, who is 6-3 247. Miller was drafted in the 4th round earlier today

Has he played much DE in his life? He would have to be an undrafted free agent for that with his lack of speed and experience.

Yeah ten years ago he would probably already have been drafted, but its a different game these days.

Wonder who - and maybe HOW he was advised? I thought they pretty much had it down to a science. Don't think Lamar would have decided totally on his own, especially if they told him he'd likely be a 6th or 7th rounder or not drafted at all.

I don't think another year at Clemson would have helped

his draft status one bit.

It sucks, years back Lamar is first LB off the board. But I don’t thinking coming back would help him much due to the pass happy NFL. He also battled a lot of injuries during his career here so imagine he just wants to try to get paid.

He is a great athlete for his size and I’m drafting him just to be one of the first dudes off the bus/plane, special teams, and running downs.
