Actually its probably the opposite.

The MF is uncalled for and rude. Fans participating in this have no respect for anybody including themselves. We have lots of children at the games and their minds are like a sponge. They pick up everything. Please Clemson family be considerate of others. We at Clemson are better than this guys.

Get over the women and children thing. Half the people saying it in the student section are women. Plenty of schools have chants in the student section that contain profanity. That won't change anytime soon. Explain to your kid to not say MF and move on.

Already have, but thanks for the insight and parental advice. My kid will hopefully act like he's got a little class when he gets there. Being young and immature isn't anything new, but trying to hand out bad advice and defending bad behavior isn't real smart.
Plenty of schools aren't Clemson...and some people just don't get it.

We are talking about 15% of the student section MAX. It isn't like Wisconsin where one half yells "F- you" and the other side yell "East Sh--" back to them. It isn't a great look for us, but has been blown completely out of proportion.

I get it. When I was a student we flipped off the FSU section with a middle-finger "mock" tomahawk chop and chanted F-the-seminoles every the FSU fans started chopping away, on national television. It seemed cool at the time. We weren't exactly considerate of everybody else in the stadium. Hopefully it's a fad and will just go-away. Nobody wants MF'ing to become a tradition at Clemson, that's all.

Slightly overdramatic, but yes tell them to not repeat bad words. I'm no advocate of MF, but it will happen. Complaining about it on Tigernet will do nothing. The whole women and children argument is outdated in 2015 - especially when lots of women yell the phrase.
