Screen passes to Dye

Maybe a draw with Dye

He's got the quick feet to avoid the rush.

Run Dye beyween the tackles. You always want to attack the blitz right up the gut.
Of course , you are assuming that they will play man on the outside ...and my answer to my own assumption would be ...have you seen their pass coverage ?
If I were Admiral Ackbar , I wouldn't play anything but a zone and hope my guys up frony get some pressure. They have a ##### defense .. its not a secret.

Unfortunately, unless Watson back, I think we have already seen what will happen

Without DW, all usuc has to do is stop our running game and make Cole beat us.

I'd like to see more of the first formation we saw yesterday

Nov 23, 2014, 7:54 AM

QB under center, jumbo line, an RB (or 2!) in the backfield, and run the ball. Cole isn't great with the pitch, but we can do it. That will keep any D honest, if we have success.

Regardless the formation, we will have to run the ball to be successful against the coots. If The Chad can figure out how to do it and STICK WITH IT if it is working, I am confident Gallman and Dye can help us.

lol@ STICK WITH IT

Nov 23, 2014, 8:10 AM

I expect to see a heavy dose of the run from both sides. I hope we run more .

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Actually, the run game has been his biggest brain fart.

Nov 23, 2014, 10:45 AM

When it has worked in big games in the past (see 2012 coot game, see WVU Orange Bowl), he has been inpatient with it and not used it just because we were behind a little.

If we have success, STICK WITH IT, even if we are down a score or even two. The run sets up other things, but only if you establish it as a real threat.

You know they will run the screen 50 times.***
