Vandy just won 9 games, has a good coach, and just lured in another top recruit. With how weak the SEC East is, they can contend for the title in the next few years...

Will not have lost the NFL talent we lost last year on defense. And we lost, last year, one of the very best Defensive Coordinators around.

I hate the Coots as much as anyone, but UGA, Florida, and even South Carolina have been good, and appear to have good futures.
But where my major source of confusion comes from is the "Vanderbilt lured in another top recruit" comment. The only recruit they had commit today was Brandon Vandenburg who is a 3 star TE on both Rivals and Scout. 3 star recruits are nice, but this kid is also a junior college player, so he only has 2 years to play. I would hardly consider this commitment that relevant to Vandy's future, and it's even less relevant to South Carolina's.

than both divisions of the ACC did in the entire top 25. People that insist on claiming the coots' division is "down" aren't being very logical. Plenty of stuff to make fun of them abt....their conference division isn't one of them.

Oh wait one got absolutely embarrassed, another had half of their D cramping after playing a "weak and gimmick offense", and the other two were lucky to win their games against mediocre BIG 10 teams.

They had 5 of the top 10 and 7 total in the final AP poll. Contrast that to our conference. Some of y'all need a rudimentary lesson in trash talk ammo. I'm not talking any smack until we beat them in November....it's come back to bite me too many times.

3 teams from the SEC east finished in the top 10 and 4 in the top 25. That is one weak conference.

Is Vandy getting better...absolutely. Is the SECe bad, absolutely not. They had 4 teams finish in the Top 25, and 3 in the Top 10, which was more than the SECw even.

Not bashing your post but until we beat them again I am not saying anything about what the coots should or shouldnt do. We had the team to beat them in '09, '11 and '12 and lost.

which plays perfectly into our hands while we begin our run in August. People can denigrate the east all they like but the fact of the matter is, if we are to win a national title we must beat the 2 SEC-e teams we play this year. Ridicule them if it makes you feel better but beating the ones we play will benefit us far more than an Auburn or Ole Miss. Call them the SEC least, j.v. division or whatever....just BEAT them!

I understand the theme of your post. Vandy is not a crappy team anymore. But to call the SEC East weak is just about ridiculous. What did they have, three top ten teams this year...and then there is Vandy to consider. Hardly weak.
