Alarming. He cant recruit as is... and the decent players he does recruit end up leaving. Something is wrong here. The AD needs to address this problem.

It doesn't matter. Any coach we hire should be expected
Mar 23, 2015, 5:16 PM
[ in reply to How many of those has Clemson ever had?*** ] |

to win more than Brownell has and bring in better players than Brownell has, regardless of what other coaches have done or who is to blame. Not saying "fire Brownell" nor am I bashing him, but just stating a fact. If his failures are due to circumstances beyond his control, so be it, but we have to have higher expectations than that for our basketball program, and he is the head coach.

Do you believe Dabo would be landing these big time classes if our facilities were in the bottom quarter of the ACC and he didn't have one of the highest paid staffs in college football? Thankfully, facilities are getting the major upgrade they need. He has 2 years to produce barring a meltdown next year. The rest of these discussions are simply ignorant. You don't get top dollar return on a 20 cent investment

is, fair or not, the longer Brownell struggles and/or underperforms here, the more strongly he becomes associated with the failures. It may be unfortunate for him, but outdated facilities not withstanding, the head coach can't get a 100% free pass.

That wasnt what you asked.

Maybe you should wait until he has more than ONE Senior class go through before making claims like you are making.
