The World couldn't compete with America in Football,

Basketball, or Baseball, so they invented a game that is so boring that no athletic American in their right mind would rather play.
Football involves powerful men hitting each other as hard as they can and pretending not to be hurt.
Fusbol involves actresses catfighting each other and pretending to be mangled.
Football has huge jumbotrons with amazing graphics, electronic fireworks, megawatt sound systems, and really hot cheerleaders.
Fusbol can't even figure out how to make a clock count down instead of up.
#### I can't wait till September.

Let the players throw the ball and run the ball while others try to tackle them. Get rid of the net, add an end zone and goal post.
Divide the game into quarters and have a clock that makes sense.
But I don't see that happening.

Football has people who kick field goals because points are points no matter how they add up. Yay, more points.
Football has a commercial every 2 minutes. Commercials are awesome.
Football is actually played 11' on average even though the game lasts 3 hours. I love it when the sport isn't even on, I just enjoy listening to announcers talk about the SEC.
Football has timeouts because sometimes players get tired. World class... Pshhhh.
Football only last for 4 months a year... Weak.
Football doesn't have relegation... Weak boring games at the end of every single season.
Playoffs after a season where teams that are .500 get in? Yup, that's football.

Did you watch D. Wade fake a foul? He just pretended that Ginobili hit in in the face and he was rewards with free throws. Ginobili in from Argentina and D. Wade from the US.
All sports have things that you may not like but that doesnt make the sport not great. The world cup is an EVENT. Do you like tailgating? What about tailgating in a the beaches of Rio. I can name many things that make soccer great and that doesnt take away from college football or any sport.
ALL sports are GREAT.

I like curling, too. Winter Olimpic sports are pretty fun. Although I dont know how curling is a sport.

I love american football but your ignorance and backwardness would be funny if you were not serious.
no one else plays american football, while everyone plays soccer and wants to win it, including us.
no one else in the world watches american football or even plays it.
this is like some caber tosser in scotland getting silly about his local sport no one else plays.
american football is 11 minutes of total running in a 4 hour span. fat guys who couldnt run even a mile.
i love me some clemson football, but lets not pretend its the same class of athlete.

That's where your wrong saying not same class of athletes. Your trying to use OL, who play a very vital role in football, would destroy 100% of World Cup soccer players in a fight, and who can all run a mile (mmm maybe not Spencer Region) to say football players aren't in the same class of athletes? Sammy Watkins , CJ Spiller, Jacoby Ford and a host of others could outrun any of those guys. If soccer were the number one sport in this country the USA would dominate. You don't think Lebron, Kobe, Ray Lewis , Payton Manning could have been great soccer players had they cared about the sport. Don't get me wrong I work with a lot of people from other countries and have been watching some of the games and they can be mildly entertaining at times. I also grew up playing soccer as a kid and still play pick up games sometimes. I think saying football players , even at Clemsons level aren't on the same level as World Cup soccer players is a very stupid and untrue comment.

although variations of the game can be traced back as far as 206BC
The first American football game wasn't played until 1869.
Basketball traces its origins back to around 1891.
Baseball, on the other hand, has been around since the early 1830's.
