But it would be kinda cool if they ditched any mascot and just went with WFT.
Problem with switching to the Redtails or some such like that is you then have to redo the whole team identity to match the new name, colors, etc.
Just going WFT solves that problem and doesn't hurt anyone's feelings.
Snyder says it is possible.

nicknames happened.
The Toffees, the Magpies, the Pensioners, the Blues, The Reds, etc.
Really confusing is when they have an animal on their badge and are called by another animal nickname.
Looking at you Watford.

WFC would be very cool. OTOH, culturally, we don't call American football teams "clubs" the way they do in the UK and parts of Europe.
So APM is kinda OK with WFT.
Then later, if a new franchise somewhere calls themselves "FT Spartanburg" for example, well THEN we're really rolling. Got our own thing going.
