I'm guessing you guys aren't wrestling fans. NWA was the organization that made guys like Ric Flair and Dusty Rhodes famous. In the late 80's they were bought by Ted Turner and he changed the name to WCW. Anyway, Billy Corgan from the Smashing Pumpkins bought the rights to the name and decided to start running shows again. Tonight was their debut episode.

Would have never guessed Billy to be a wrastlin' guy. I was always a Smashing Pumpkins fan but thought he was aloof. I have a better appreciation for him today after hearing some interviews.

Cornette and the Rock N Roll Express are still there actually, lol. Cornette is the color commentator and the Rock N Roll Express are still wrestling.
