Does ETN get a Heisman invite after yesterday's performance?

Everybody knows that Tua, Murray, and Haskins are the top 3 guys, but if they extended it to the customary 5 guys I would think ETN would get an invite to NYC. It'd be nice to see that for his family.

Probably not. I’m not sure he gets the Doak Walker for the best RB (likely Henderson from Memphis).

Our stable has too many studs to highlight any one of them.

Last night ETN had 12 touches . . . how many Heisman potentials only get 12 touches per game?

I'm not complaining. I love having fresh legs constantly attacking our foes. It's just not the recipe for Heisman contention.

Last night easily would have been a 200+ yard night with just 8 more touches . . . I am good with less wear and tear heading into our Championship Season.

Love ALL of our RBs!!!!!!!

it looked like he tweaked his hamstring last night, I am not sure he was capable of much more than 12 carries.

Next year should be his year for consideration if the team performs at the level they did this year ..... important in a Heisman race. One of the others will win it, so I almost had rather him not be invited as another prop for them to kill an hour of TV time.

Tua had it won before the 1st snap of the season.

It means nothing anymore.

Possibly, but I think minds are made up before the season even starts. It's all about narrative and a popularity contest. Just doesn't stand for what it used to.....else the seafood theif would never have been considered.

I recall the year Lamar Jackson won it, most of the votes were submitted before the end of the regular season. That worked out well for Lamar, because he didn't play well in several of their late season games, which Louisville also lost.

I remember thinking then that votes should only be accepted after conference championship games at the earliest, if not after the playoffs.
