I’m impressed with how he’s handled himself post-Presidency. I expected him to be a constant critic of Trump’s, but he has remained mostly silent. Admirable. And if Trump called on him to assist, I believe he would.

He is a class act. Most past presidents don't comment on the current president at the time. I am sure Trump will change that when he is out of office though if a Dem is in office.

presidents have typically respected the challenge of the office. I expected Obama to also fail to maintain this tradition, partly because I consider him arrogant, and partly because Trump’s divisiveness invites it. But again, yes, to his credit, he has refrained. He’ll no doubt make a speech during the DNC convention bashing Trump, which is not inappropriate, but that will probably be it.
