It's such a dumb rule is the problem. The hit on amari is by far the most dangerous hit in this game and it was rightfully legal. The hit by skalski, while a targeting per the rule, illustrates how dumb and arbitrary the rules are when trying to protect players

I enjoyed football more before the targeting and defenseless player rules. Now leveling someone isn't a good 'hit'.

You must don't have a son playing FB, and if you do, I'm sure you wouldn't want to see him in a wheelchair for the rest of his life bc a player and the fans wanted to see a good hit!!!!

That was classic targeting. It doesn't have to be helmet to helmet. The rule clearly says anywhere around shoulders, neck and head is TARGETING!!!
