I didn't expect that from Richt initially but then remembered we are in the playoff era. We don't know how that committee will make their decisions and scoring a lot of points in a bunch of games could be the difference if teams are tied for that 4th spot.

He could have kicked a FG, or ran it on in, but he took a knee??? You wanted him to take a knee with over a minute left in the game...??? Time for us to put on our Big Boy pants and man up. Keep them out of the endzone on defense, not their job to stop themselves

so you want him to put his 3rd string on the field and tell them not to play or score? Heck, by that time in the game, we could not even stop them. Only way for the bench players to get any experience is to play.
Plus it is out job to stop them, not them stop themselves
