So we fill the NonCon losses with Coastal teams ?

Jul 9, 2020, 9:00 PM

Add games against Coastal Div teams to fill in the lost games or what ?
I don't care , but seems the way to have a full season if this holds serve .

That may well be what they try, but it all makes no sense.

I think they are doing away with non-conferene games just for the purpose of reducing activity altogether. So let's say they do away with the South Carolina game and we play North Carolina instead. What has that accomplished other than us having a tougher opponent to play?

Yeah I would love to see more conference games but agree that would contradict the supposed goal of reduced exposure.

See where the B10 says primarily they want to limit travel exposure ... says the conference stretching 2/3rds of the country .
The ACC from Boston to Miami , the Pac12 from Seattle to LA ... it makes no sense if the motivation is to limit travel exposures .
Disingenuous .

It would keep all that ugly garnet out of Pickens county for a year , and that's a big win in my book ;)

I'm not sure that's the plan...

Jul 10, 2020, 7:27 AM

The plan may be to simply play just the eight conference games already on the schedule plus Notre Dame.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.
