Heisman Trophy winner = An overrated football player on a team that Clemson beat in the Playoffs or National Championship Game.

When DW got shafted the Trophy took a dive. I had rather Clemson
focus on wins, wins, wins and championships will over shadow any
individual awards.

I don’t like the heisman trophy either but your statement is not factual. Just pointing out that Derrick Henry best us in the first bama Clemson meeting. Just throwing that out there.

He's the least deserving Heisman winner in recent memory. When he speaks he sounds like an uneducated fool (which is fitting considering Louisville is a giant commuter college).

I've felt even less about the Heisman after CJ Spiller was shunned by the Heisman voters by not even inviting him to NY. There wasn't one player better IMO that year than CJ, but they disrespected what CJ had done at every turn. That Heisman trophy they talk about, it became less than a turd of chit to me that year!!!

Mr. Heisman would probably be embarrassed if he knew what was being done in his name. It has now become a pre-season honor. What we need now is an award that is not determined until after the national championship game. Maybe we can gat a dozen or so TNet posters to chip in a quarter each and we can initiate our own award.

I am currently switching channels every few minutes to watch a few plays in every game that I can get. The volume is turned down so I don't have to listen to the announcers who feel it necessary to give me their elongated version of every play. I prefer my own assessment or my option to not even make an assessment.
