before the Rose Bowl is a perfect example of the pitiful state our country is in because of the political correctness bs that is now prevalent across America. The National Anthem should be sung with dignity. It is not a time to put on a personal show.

for years people who have a death need a house sitter during the funeral in many places to keep the place from being robbed while they are away. that pretty well says a lot about our country and it isnt good.

so what you really mean is that the national anthem should be sang the same way it was sang in 1940's, 50's, 60's, and 70's? Traditional, plain, and the white way right?....you guys are turds. if it's not traditional then there's something wrong. how about if you were given a talent to sing, would you want to sound just like everyone else or would you like to sound like, uh, yourself?

I mean, I don't really care about hearing the anthem sang by a bunch of country, bluegrass artists, but it is what it is. accept people and stop bitching about everything. New year, same mindset
