Is Notre Dame part of ACC in football

Hey guys, first time poster on here. Been a Clemson fan all my life and I've been close to posting things several times over the years but always just decided to sit back and see what everyone else has to say. Anyway, in regards to Notre Dame being a part of the ACC as far as football is concerned. I have done a little research and came across Boston College's schedule/win-loss record. Boston College has a 3-4 record overall, the 4 losses being to Wake Forest, Notre Dame, Clemson, and Virginia Tech. Now when you look at there conference win-loss record it shows them at 1-3. We know Wake Forest, Clemson, and Virginia Tech are in the ACC, so that leaves Notre Dame as the odd team out. Now, Notre Dame does have in their agreement that they are allowed to participate in ACC bowl tie-ins and access to the ACC's annual spotlight national game on Labor Day. So in conclusion, Notre Dame is not a part of the ACC in football as far as wins/losses and the ACCCG but they do get some perks from being affiliated with the ACC in other sports. Also, the 2015 ACC Championship ring image that is being passed around, that is from basketball.

I know. But when I was on here yesterday it seemed like there were still a lot of people thinking they were a part of the ACC in football. I felt like I needed to set them straight. Lol

answer, they often respond with inside jokes or pretty d##kish responses. I don't know all the ins-and-outs, concerning money from football, and what benefits they get from the ACC, but Notre Dame is not part of the conference when it comes to football or fencing. However, they did agree to play at least 5 ACC opponents each season.

That ring is for basketball. Did you not read my original post? Clemson won the ACC in 2015 for football. Clemson beat a Marquise Williams lead UNCheat.

I was just giving you a chance to explain why you posted it. Seeing as you were implying in your prior post the ring was for football because it didn't say basketball. But it doesn't say football either, so your reasoning is flawed. Not sure why you chose to say that I was the stupid one with all of this in mind.

ND is not part of the ACC in football. They (we) just sometimes have fun with the sarcasm, and alltimes have fun baiting people.
