Texas just got commitments from TWO 4* TE's...

In the last 10 days. Does this help us with priority '18 class 4* TE Mustafa Muhammed?
Or is he a bigger threat with one of the other 3 in his top 5?
247 has Michigan 100%. Michigan also got a TE commit a couple weeks ago.

Just a hunch on Mohammad, and i don't have insider info, just my own thoughts. Based on his top five, I could see him going to either UCLA, Michigan or Clemson. With Texas picking up two really good TE's, and the fact that I don't feel UCLA or LSU would be huge contenders, only the Wolverines and Tigers have a shot. I hope we will be pleasantly surprised by his commitment.

There's a lot of excitement around Tom Herman. They are selling these in-state kids on the whole "let's make Texas great again" spiel

Texas has consistently hauled in Top 10 classes over the years... Even during the last decade, when they've been mediocre, except for the end of Mack Brown's tenure. After Strong was hired, the recruiting started picking up again until last year. Doesn't surprise me at all that they're at the top again seeing how Herman is the next best thing...

FWIW: I'm predicting Texas to challenge for the Big 12 Championship. Tom Herman has proven that he can coach pretty well with lesser recruits, so at Texas he has the recruits to win some games. Don't under-estimate Texas IMO.

No impact on Muhammad. Anderson is a transfer, and instant starter. Epps is a redshirt development. Muhammad is just right.

Certainly would not complain if he wanted to come to Clemson and if we over-signed to get him, but IMO, we have much more important players still on our board at other positions.
