Tennessee T-Shirt

A Florida elementary school student wanted to represent his Tennessee Volunteers on collegiate colors day at school and decided to make his own UT shirt. His classmates bullied him and made fun of it, but after the story went viral, the University of Tennessee did something awesome. Feel free to check out the video below.

Well UT football knows a thing or two about being bullied, but I did notice not on article mentions the kid getting any royalties, some money goes to an anti-bulling charity, but only some generic swag for the kids, and his whole class.

Are we sure that the bullying was due to the shirt and not that Tennessee is awful?


It's a nice story and finally some good press for that program after so many missteps.

But seriously, I love this story. I think I might buy some for my boys, and tell them the story and teach the lesson.

Actually, I think that UT has made this a quasi-official t-shirt design. Seriously. Hope the kid get a cut and/or tuition waiver from UT.
