Has WINNING become boring???

Last night Dabo had to post a plea to our student body to show up to the game Saturday. I'm not sure whats up with our Student Body, but what else are they doing on a Saturday afternoon in early November? I know there has been issues with hill tickets and fire marshals and blah blah blah. I went to school during the Tommy West years and was there every Saturday. Now we are winning and folks seem to take it for granted.
Here our the avg. attendance #s the last 3 years 2015 - 81757 2016 - 80776 2017 - 80671
Why does our reigning National Championship coach who's team is 4 qtrs away from claiming their 6th Atlantic Division Championship in 9 years have to ask people to come to the game?
Get your snowflake butt to the game and cheer! LOUD!

I think winning has caused prices to soar.

Many have issues with that, which is understandable. I will never take being in Death Valley for a football game for granted. I also won't take winning for granted. I am thankful for what Coach Swinney has done for Clemson University.

I know it's not much of an excuse but expect for Auburn all the big games have been on the road. So I would say those numbers are really not bad.

Probably a year or so ago I read an article about sports attendance being down among younger people compared to the last generation. A lot of it was attributed to high definition TV.

West Zone reduced stadium capacity. Don't remember exact numbers but DV used to be about 84,000, now it's about 81,000.

and the current west endzone is much smaller than the previous one.
I don't know if you remember that 99 game, but 86,000 is way too many in DV.

How about lowering the prices of the nosebleeds? That would fix things.

2015 had ND that was over 82,000. This year that was Auburn that was just shy of 82,000. We still haven't played one of our signficant attendance teams, FSU.

Only if you're a bandwagon fan. But if you've endured Red

Parker, Ken Hatfield, Tommy West, Tommy Bowden - have seen 5/6 wins, losses to the Coots, Marshall, etc...then you don't savor every victory. We are in a golden age of Clemson Football. Enjoy it, or go away and let someone else.

I wouldn't throw Red Parker in that group. He gets lots of credit from no less than Danny Ford for laying the foundation of the great teams of the late 70's .

It has for some and I guess I'm in that group. For about the last ten years, I've become too emotionally involved and stressed to watch games in real time. I record, check the score and only watch victories. Only once when I got roped into a party have I seen us lose in all that time.
But this year, it's different. Now I check the box score and read the account before I decide- win or lose. I deleted NC State without watching. But since you framed the question the way you did, I've revisited that decision. Had we been 5-3 going in (and without the success of the last two years) and had NC State been ranked #4 going in (giving them our success of the last two years), I'd have watched that game win and relished every minute.
