I'm not worried about the offense, we need the defense to get davis at minimum back, he and Bresee can control a game on the field at the same time

The protocols were agreed to so that we could have football! I do not want anyone to play till they have been cleared! Some people who are asymptomatic still have cardio or pulmonary issues. This is about player safety not about MONEY!

I am so happy for Clemson today, they prove that they can overcome any adversity that is put before them. They have to dig deep within themselves and find a way to defeat ND, it can be done, play hard and play tough! Clemson play Clemson game and the outcome will be victory!!!! Sad for Trevor because rarely does Clemson get a chance to play at Notre Dame. DJ did great today and just think how good it will be if the offensive line can man up and block for #9 and #23. The big concern is getting some defensive players back and getting some better play from the corners and safeties.

Because everyone already knew there was no possible way he could have returned, even with no positives or symptoms, during his 10 day isolation based on the 10/28 positive test. This is due to the 4 additional days required for 100% re-acclimation to get medically cleared for a full practice or game.
It’s really a 14 days minimum before any ACC/SEC player that tests positive can return for full practice or a game. It’s much longer for the BIG-10 players, so just be glad he isn’t subject to those rules.
They really should stop letting fans in the stadiums for this exact reason.

DJ was great today.
But ND's defense is far, far better and will be a huge test for him. Our defense will need to play their best game of the year for us to win.

Sounds like TL is recovering fine and would be able to play Saturday if not for the “cardiac thing” whatever that is.
Why did the staff and media think he had a chance to play at ND if the cardiac requirements don’t allow it?
