So we give ND $6,000,000.00 in revenue sharing... and they give us Jack S^$# out of their Billion $$$ NBC deal...

Their NBC deal is not that big anymore relative who to the recent rights deals conferences are getting. Not sure where you are getting “billions”.

ND gets $15M per year from NBC

May 25, 2018, 3:19 PM [ in reply to Re: TNET: Report: Clemson tops $30 million from ACC revenue ]

They're getting less than any other ACC school in total. This is why they'll eventually join the ACC in football.

On the other hand, ND has other revenue streams and doesn't need the money, per se. At least that's what they say. I believe they'll be a full ACC member in 2025 when that NBC deal expires.

Notre Dame's endowment is almost $12B. CLemson's endowment is between $600-700M. Athletic money is important to ND, but it's not as important to the Irish as it is to most other universities.

I posted 3 years ago that the SEC network was nothing to worry about, because we would also climb to about 35 million. Hopefully the ACC network will get us to $35, unfortunately the SEC struck at the right time and has created a significant gap. It should close in the coming years but looks to remain over 5 million.

So it looks like the experts on here were wrong when they said the SEC network would not create the gap they were projecting.

Predicting ND will be a full member and big 12 will implode - all happening when NBC deal expires and GOR expires for big 12. ND and Texas will be the next 2 members of ACC. You heard it hear first!

I heard USuCk has used that money to offer free acting classes

It’s ok to live in reality FYI.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Reality:

May 25, 2018, 8:15 PM

USuCk brings in more revenue and still get killed on the football field by Clemson. In fact right now Clemson owns all the major men’s sports. There is not one single program in the nation fills their football stadium with 80,000+ for each home game only to have a program that wins no championships and is historically bad. That’s the reality you need to deal with and trolling a Clemson message board won’t change it.

Ok but that doesn’t change the fact that the people who claimed there wouldn’t be a large gap in revenue were wrong....

Reality: I don’t care.***
