He probably aged 20 years in the 5 he was at SCar. He seems to have recovered from their premature aging process for coaches as he pretty much looks his real age now.

Like him or not, that era of College football shows were much better than they are now. These shows now have zero substance most the time and it is usually ignorant people arguing about things that don't even matter. It's not like they break down the game anymore, they don't give good analysis, they just bicker and talk over one another. All the talent is gone!

Holtz did a lot for college football in his day. Much respect. He may have hung on longer than he should've. But that doesn't diminish the value he offered 20 years ago.

But I have read several times a long statement he wrote against the Democrats stand for Socialism, the mentality of entitlement and hoe poisonous it is, and I must say it was dead on strong strong words! I myself have respect for what he said and stands for, even if he’s a bit lost on where Kelly is today! Go Tigers!!!
