I like the way Mike thinks! I heard he was giving free rides at camp.

Believe it or not, that wasn’t camp. That was actually a college football game. It just looked like camp, cuz one team was getting schooled.

M o f o... I saw what you did there...***

He's giving of his time and resources which is wonderful for this little community. He only gives free piggyback rides when he's working!
Blessings on you, Mike!

I think that is cool of him doing something for the kids in that community, and I pray that he will do more like buying every school kid there a pair of shoes and a few nice things to wear to school, plus their needed school supplies bc, he was born and raised there, and nobody knows better how tough things are for other kids growing up there. I would be willing to bet that Mike has or is worth more money than the entire population of Vance totaled up by adding the lack of wealth of every person there!!!! I'm sure he could get his team mates and his team organization to chip in and help pay for a gift like that for those children that may never have new cloths or shoes while they are still children... Some of them will never get out of the situations that comes with being raised in a community as small as Vance SC really is!!! If he was to organize a gift giving like that to those kids, they nor he would ever forget it, and he would be blessed many times over for opening his heart up just to make a small difference in those children lives!!!

You would be correct. Lake Marion is the name of the high school. He is from the Santee area.

He is from Vance, Sc. It's right out outside of Santee. He went to Lake Marion high school. Vance is a little farm town. They have signs up saying home of Mike Williams now. Pretty cool

Go through there often. Tiny place between Santee and Eutawville right on Lake Marion. Beautiful farms, friendly people and home of a phenomenal wide receiver & young man!!!

Yep, but the very small community there is named Vance. Actually the town of Santee I think is bigger than Vance.
