Every team ahead of tOSU has played 11 games and in 2020 - that matters, a lot!

I recall after the 31-0 destruction of Ocryoh State Coach Swinney revealed that he knew his team was far superior and told the team that pregame. I think coach feels the same this year.

Dabo listened to ocryo Day, and heard all their revenge stuff about refs stealing it etc etc. Dabo is living rent free in all the bucknuts heads and Any better I couldn't stand it... Literally wet myself when I read this. Go Dabo, go Tigers.

CBV is salivating with the tools in his toolbox now, just like with ND.

It was a quip about how many SEC teams he put at the top of his ballot. Based on my thumbs down(s), it appears no one has a funny bone either.

That's not a smart move. He just keeps giving the motivation. Just shut up and play the game. What happened to his coach speak?

Reading isn't your strong suit, is it? He didn't say anything bad and congratulated them. He voted them #11 because there were more deserving teams. It was just publicly released info.

That one of many universities in Ohio is already bent out of shape over Dabo's comments about the number games. If he put them any higher, he would have lost credibility with all of his other comments. This is not more motivation, just confirmation of his previous statements. Besides, deep down the nuts know it is true and it is hard to get motivated by comments that you know are true.

Absolutely, and if the chance to play for a National Championship isn't enough motivation for them FKnuts to try and play their best, it would only further prove that they don't belong. IMO, even if they are a #3 team, they haven't played enough games to have earned a right to be in the playoffs over a 1 loss team that has played 10-11 games. I think that is Dabo's opinion also!!!

He didn't say anything but you would have thought he would have placed them higher based on expectation they would be in playoffs and likely opponent, kind of like when he didn't vote for Alabama, I think we remember how that one worked out that year

He'd already made the comment that he didn't think they had played enough games to be in the playoffs...to go and vote for them in a playoff position would have been odd.

I think that it's a shame that grown men and women can't be honest with things that actually don't help them or their teams in any way. That's just a reason to keep a close eye on them and their programs bc, if they are going to be dishonest about something so meaningless to them, what are they really doing when nobody can see them!!!!!!!!!

I think they’ve been coming to our state for so long they’ve adopted the Coots’ butthurt and carrying a grudge for life. It’s also ironic that the Coots have owned them too. Not many teams can boast that.

I love coach Swinney! I agree they should have played more games to qualify for a championship. They played no one & only played 6 games.

They had every opportunity to play earlier like the other 3 leagues.

Chances are they would have lost a game or two if they played anyone.

Why should his guys work so hard & bucknuts did hardly nothing?

Should have made them 20th.

I will say if Ohio State loses it will not be due to lack of motivation. They felt like Clemson stole their bowl win last year and kept them from beating LSU. They were so bitter from their Coach, players, and fans. Then there was the story about Dabo saying a 6 game team should not be in the playoff - OSU took that very personal as if he just insulted their mother. Now this story about us voting them 11.

link

Seems unnecessary. They have enough motivation already.

Posted: Dec 21, 2020, 4:09 PM

Hard to go against anything Dabo does/says, he's definitely earned that right. Given last year's game they already have a ton of motivation. Just seems like an odd move for Dabo.

You always know where Dabo stands and that is refreshing. He doesn't mince words and he is true to his personal beliefs. The truth is the truth and shouldn't be sugarcoated. I have the utmost respect for people like that.

Heck ... I'd get on the field and line up for Dabo ... well, as a kicker .. since I was on the Clemson soccer team way back when. <img border=">">">">"> I'd probably get stomped by those 300+ pound players, but I'd at least get a good lick in before they carried me off the field on a stretcher. <img border=">">">">">

Will this provide fodder for 0310 St? Maybe, but they will whine about anything. I'm tired of hearing about the last game being 'stolen' by the refs. In the Northwestern game, there was the exact same play (WR catch, quick hit, fumble recovered by Northwestern) that went in 0310 St's favor and I didn't see them whine about THAT play.

Plus, in the game we won 29-23, we outscored them a whopping 29-7 points after their 0-16 lead, so don't go crying about "the refs stole it." The Tigers woke up and kicked their tail!!

I love that Dabo ranked them a "well deserved" 11th. In the classroom, they would have received an 'Inclomplete' and they shouldn't be rewarded by the playoff committee for playing an incomplete season. Plus their league bent the rules to get them into their championship game ... and also reduced the quarantine period for COVID to help them out.

Our Tigers will be well-prepared and ready to play. But we'd better score a lot early because the buckeye's advantage is that they are much fresher than us because they haven't played as many games, and haven't played the tough games that we have.

GO TIGERS!!

He’s trolling them. When they get mad they don’t get better. They feel disrespected and want to hurt someone instead of outperform them and answer with their success, which is what Dabo does.

Dabo’s #11 ranking will gain probably two unsportsmanlike penalties on OSU and give Clemson 30 extra yards and two first downs. Maybe a targeting too.
