Well that's a relief... I think? Implies he will be able to play 4 games later in the season as needed

Still hurts us with depth some but glad he will be back.

Think we’ll be fine depth wise

Especially because I think CBV can line up Bresee at DT or DE.

potential as legit threat as a pass rusher. Skill set not on display last year as containment became his primary responsibility due to scheme change(many would have hit transfer portal 4-3 de glamour position to 3-4 DE-Grunt work, gap control, occupy blockers-worst pos on field, hoping we hit big on Murphy & early-

probably should redshirt the whole team a this point***

well hopefully, he can play the 4 games. id like to see him play the notre dame game, acc championship game and playoff games , if the season makes it that far.. he will be missed and was expected to have good year.. be nice if the redshirt was pulled if he got in shape and football ready,

If we even have a CFP this year

I bet the ones on here who were saying bad things about him the last day or so regret it. Thats why you should probably keep your mouth shut until something official comes out, dont believe rumors.

Hey X.....just get well and get strong

Glad the redshirt rule will let you play 4 games if you can. We will be cheering for you either way.

Blessings for the X Man. Maybe some of the TNET non believers are thinking about changing their minds about the virus.

Since this whole Covid thing is all new (corona), we don't

really know what some longer term effects might be and how a body overall is affected. Hoping for the best for him and other healthy young folk that get infected.

Great to hear that XT3 is on his feet, though. Strep sucks also, and like Mono can require a lot of stillness and rest over time to let it pass, even with meds.

Sets up great for later season if there is a later season. Hoping for that too.

Go XT3! Go Tigers!

Might be. Especially if he's healthy and in game mode.

Getting that degree in December certainly opens up a lot more opportunities, now and later.

So what did TCI say?

That he was going to opt out or that he was going to redshirt? Just curious.

They posted yesterday that Xavier might sit out the season.

When someone here shared their post, several people responded and used it as an opportunity to criticize TCI.

I don't get the rivalry stuff between Clemson sports sites. They all share good content. None are perfect. If someone doesn't like a site, don't visit it.

I guess I see a difference between opting out and a redshirt. However, I never did see what was said exactly.

Wishing you a complete recovery XT! If you can play late in the season, great. If not, that's OK too.

With Bryan Bresee and Myles Murphy, we have two very capable freshmen Day 1 starters at DE. The D-line will be fine. It works out for everyone if there is a season.
