I prefer us being the underdog, but it's time for the next step in the maturation process of the program; consistently vying to be #1 with expectation of winning it all every year.

Here's to keeping the top spot and owning it all the way through Atlanta for the repeat!!

Go Tigers!

ND at 15 is a joke. UGA and ND are artificially inflating

Nov 28, 2017, 7:29 PM

each other's rankings.

maybe Auburn and Miami are the ones inflated...***

With Wisconsin at #4 and Alabama at #5, Alabama is in a position to get into the playoffs at #4 with a Ohio State win over Wisconsin in the conference championship game.

I'd submit that one key takeaway from these rankings is that there's no scenario where Clemson moves off the #1 spot if we win this Saturday. When you combine Auburn's promotion to #2 with our previous victory against them, we will be in New Orleans or Miami for the Orange Bowl.

Win= #1 and a trip to New Orleans
Loss= outside chance of #4 (still in New Orleans) or the Orange Bowl

Would love it to stay just what it is. No upsets. I wanted to go to N.O.

Would like to play the cheeseburgers. We can keep the b1g from scoring for the third straight year... then repeat time in Atlanta!!!

What do the sports analysts really know. Apparently not much. Win Saturday and we're in the same position 2 years ago, #1 playing # 4. Not what the experts predicted!!!!!!!

How did Miss St not fall out? Fresno St is also in there to boost Bama's résumé. Go Boise St!

What happens if: Clemson beats Miami, Auburn beats Ga, Oklahoma beats TCU and Ohio State BEATS WISCONSIN ? #5 Alabama moves into top 4 with no Conference Championship appearance or Ohio State possibly ends up in top 4. If Alabama moves into top 4, this system is no better than BCS. Same deal with 2 SEC teams possibly competing for National Championship

Alabama in the 4 spot would be the only way this makes sense. It's the same scenario that happened last year with Penn State. The 2-loss Big 10 Champion should not be in over a 1-loss Bama. Bama lost to the hottest team in the country Saturday. Ohio State did their season in losing to Iowa by 31 points and Oklahoma by 15. Who cares if two teams from the same Conference are in the Playoffs? Auburn is the only legitimate case I see for a 2-loss team making the playoffs since its inception.
