I'm not sure who wouldn't understand a young man realizing his adult future isn't in football and deciding to get a head start on his true calling.

Very mature Christian for his age. He actually understands the mystery given to Paul that he sums up in Galatians 2:20 “I am crucified (The old man is dead) with Chris and I no longer live(confirming the death..see also Romans) but Christ lives in me. The life I now live (the new and eternal life)in the flesh I live by faith in Christ. May you always continue you path to completion as one of the Sons of God! Prayers!
