Re: Cry baby coots got their way - LOL***

Aug 3, 2018, 3:10 PM

That and more bc, Spirit field is only 1 mile away from coot campus!!! How far is it from Clemson to Fluor Field in Greenville? What ever it is, the coots have a major advantage as far as calling Spirit park a neutral site. Spirit park is a more of a home field advantage for the coots than their own baseball park is for them!!!

There are many words coot fans need to look up, assuming they know how to do that.

Exactly, Spirit park is more of a home field advantage for the coot baseball team than their own Founders Park field is!!!! And Spirit is called a neutral site, Please!!!!!

It will be nice to go down there and stomp that rear end there, too.

Greenville isn't very neutral either. They should rotate

Charleston into the mix. Rotate Greenville, Cola, Charleston

I was really hoping to see N. Augusta get into the mix with the new SRP Park. This area of the state is a pretty even mix of Champions and Dirt Peckers as well. AND we need to correct that 0-1 record we have at SRP after the puppies whooped us this year.

North Augusta responded to the RFP but was not chosen. We weren't even notified. Found out about it on Tigernet.

The Neutral Site game should be played at RiverDogs Stadium in Charleston and work it's way up I-26.

Neutral site my ###

Aug 3, 2018, 2:29 PM

If you're playing in same city as 1 of the school's host stadium really hard to consider that "neutral". The ticket allocation is only thing that'll balance it out. Guess the coots need a 2nd home game to try to turn the tide after the started taking the L's in the neutral site game a couple years back

Agree, How can a Columbia field be a neutral site?***

Our athletics AD feels that is a good deal for all concerned, and he agree's with it like he was being paid to do so!!!

We are excited to return to Fluor Field for the 2019 and 2021 seasons to play South Carolina, and we are also excited to take this game to a new venue at Spirit Communications Park in Columbia in 2020 and 2022,” stated Clemson Director of Athletics Dan Radakovich. “With the tickets at Spirit Communications Park distributed equally, we hope to see our loyal fans from the Midlands area for the 2020 and 2022 games.” Fricking Idiot!!!

I can’t believe we agreed to this crap. We should have held our ground and made them threaten to cancel the series. We could then hold that over their head and label them the chickens they are.

They should have just decided to drop "neutral" site games and just alternate homefields each year like ever other sport.

There are a ton of Clemzen fans in the midlands. There is a 50/50 ticket allocation. Pretty sure there won't be any "home field advantage" for SC.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

more like 80/20 in the hoodlands.

If Greenville isn’t neutral enough you play in COLUMBIA? Put Rock Hill and Charleston in the mix.

Re: TNET: Changes announced for Clemson-South Carolina series

Aug 4, 2018, 12:39 AM

Why don't we just set up a baseball field at Bowman field and just call it a neutral game, that's basically what's going on here. You can't call it a neutral site when the city your "university" is in has the same city address of the "neutral" site what a joke. Can't believe our boys in the high tower agreed to this.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: TNET: Changes announced for Clemson-South Carolina series

Aug 4, 2018, 12:42 AM

Greenville is as neutral as it can be in this state . No way should the city of Columbia be the neutral game site .
