Somewhere there is a Coot reading this crying right now. They made him miserable up there and could have still been winning ballgames. I’m glad it all worked out like it did

Spurrier coached in Columbia

It was a job...he's a Gator, though. Big difference.

Used to be a pet peace of mine too but now I just embrace the alternative phrasing. It keeps me wondering how much less the poster could possibly care. Is it a lot less or a little less? Sometimes keeps me up at night.

You need more peace of mind about pet peeves.

Definitely a pet peeve of mine when people use phrases incorrectly but I'm at peace with it!

And most importantly, you can't quit. Right Coach? Coach?

That is one of the first things Dabo brought to Clemson, was belief. Belief that we were good enough, belief that if any other school could do it why not Clemson and belief that if you tried your best it could be achieved

I could care less what spursuplid thinks or drinks. Actually, really, I COULD care less if I took the time to let a little more disgussed build up.

I agree, once a coot, always a coot, you can't wash it off.

Give me a break, Spurrier was never a coot. Just a guy who liked his @-z-z kissed by chicken beaks.

Spurrier was a coach and brilliant at it too. I think he would toss his visor around on in a paper football match.

That being said, he picked a school that would toss him bucket of money without having any stress about actual exceptions/winning. Bonus was that he could continue to stick it to Tennessee.

Don't get me wrong, Spurrier cause me a lot of grief from both being a Redskin fan to a coot coach. Still, he is in my top 3 all-time for retired living coaches. (Bowden, Spurrier, Beamer... and I put a great emphasis on turning around/building "non-elite" programs programs than winning at established/"elite programs")
