A conversation with Isaiah Simmons is like a Clemson recruiting commercial

A conversation with senior linebacker Isaiah Simmons is like watching a recruiting commercial for the Clemson football program. When did Simmons know Clemson was the place he wanted to be? Full Story »

Glad he has enjoyed his time here and love that he decided to come back for his senior year. Seems like good person with his head on straight. Good article.

I love us. The current Clemson Football program is better in many ways than any other program in modern college football history. On the field performance is top notch with 2 Nattys in 3 years. Graduation rate is exemplary. The environment for the players is incredibly supportive and it calls on each person in the program, top to bottom, to be the best possible version of themselves. The coaching staff supports the players through thick and thin and holds them accountable in a completely appropriate manner.

Isaiah Simmons is not the first player nor will he be the last to convey the nearly ideal situation Clemson Football offers to players who have or want to develop the right stuff. I look forward to seeing how the fellows who have been in Dabo's program are when they are in their 30s and 40s.
