True. 100% true. He’s going to play and likely play more than people think. Dabo said yesterday when they decided to go with Kelly that he had just edged Lawrence out for the job.

This makes me think the battle may have been even but tie goes to seniority. To overtake an incumbent starter it has to be a knockout blow. That will happen within the first two games imo

Just curious but why would you be discussing the 1st quarter of the 2nd game QB participation? Who will play QB in the 3rd qtr of the DUiKE (11th) game?

He'll be in either the 2nd or 3rd series. Assuming our D gets a couple 3 and outs - it will be the 1st quarter.

Absolutely. I’m not sure why this is even a discussion. We have been through this exact situation before when Dabo thought 2 qbs deserved to play. TL will play the third or fourth series, probably the third. He will get his opportunity to play with the ones; not only this game but the next game and the next, until it’s clear KB is the best option or TL takes over.
