But you are missing something pretty important which is NOT counted in his PASS RATINGS...it's you know...everything else.

As in, making decisions on when to hand off based on what he sees and he is also very good at misdirection when he hands off and runs convincingly as if he has ball or fakes a pass. etc He threw the defense multiple times opening up a couple of those huge runs.

Chase may be throwing rainbows that are dropping in the right spot more often when he's in there but I feel much more confident about Trevor's short-mid range passing and it's more important in conjunction with a team with running backs like we have as well as to pick up first downs when we need a few more yards.

Have you already forgotten them showing in almost every game that he gets the ball to a receiver on the perimeter in less a second or less from snap because he throws so fast? That is huge.

Seriously, what do you want out of our QB? For him to be a leader that guides his team to DOMINANT victories? Or the QB in the NCAA with the best passing stats and QBR?

Sounds like you'd rather have a QB win the Heisman than our team win the National Championship.

Lastly, I've said this before but don't you think it's a bit less stressful to come in for mop up duty when you're up by 50 points relaxed and easier to get in the zone and just start tossing long balls worry-free?

Either way, I imagine Dabo will decide if for whatever reason you guys are seeing that he also thinks Chase is better. And at that point he will start him I guess. It's not like we don't have a very good coach...so why not leave it up to him?

I just rewatched the game. TL did everything asked of him. I’m sure he had the option to throw or keep many times when he handed it off instead, and that proved to be the right decision. Hard to get stats when you are averaging 13 yards per run.

His one interception looked like a good pass to me. Higgins pulled up too early. He should have kept running his route and then it would been a competitive play that he probably comes down with.

TL wasn’t going to go the rest of the season without a single interception, so I was glad it was basically a long punt when it did occur.

To most fans, only the most recent play determines your worth, so I don’t know why I let this rub me the wrong way.
