Support his supporters so desperately want for him among the fanbase... this loss is bad and inexcusable. It falls squarely on his shoulders and is the epitome of what Clemson basketball has been under his watch.. Even when we're "good"....

You can’t expect to have an elite basketball coach when you have a program that has been historically mediocre. You claiming that you are a “winner” has nothing to do with the success or decline of the basketball program. Winners learn from tough losses and get better; let’s give it time and see how the team responds down the stretch.

What about all the times this he has made adjustments and brought us back from down 14-18 and comeback to win. Or how many close games we’ve hung on and won. Tonight wasn’t pretty, but it happens sometimes, especially on the road.

Agreed. I also want to know if BB gets credit for coming back against OSU or if that was just because of our players? Tonight was not great but it happens. Our guys had chances to put it away in regulation and fsu made shots while we did not.

The bad .. We lost a close road game to a very good team and crowd
The good .. This weeks practice will improve this team on ball handling and inbound play, and we're a good team .. I'm still excited about this season .. These kids won a lot more hearts tonight and the young'ns keep growing up fast ..Lot's to be optimistic about imo

Please, Please tell me you’re a troll. If not, you’re wrong on so many levels. First off, we are going to lose a game at some point, you can’t expect a perfect season. You have no proof for why the game was squarely on his shoulders you just need someone to blame and you decided to pick the coach. Let me ask you something. If Skaara had made that free throw and we ended up winning in 2 Overtime, would you still claim that “ we always end up sucking” or would you just hide until we lose a game so you can be your mean negative self?

He didn’t turn the ball over 20+ times. He didn’t make ill advised shots. The basketball team has done an amazing job this year and Brownell has done a great job of coaching the players up. Go Tigers!! BTW the team doesn’t want bandwagon fans just ones that recognize and appreciate the hard work and overcoming the obstacles that got them to where they are now.

How about take a few steps back away from that edge. Or you know don't and just go ahead and jump. Because it's funny, people like you are always quiet when we are winning but as soon as we lose one game you are ready to rip heads off. You know I'm super freaking proud of our basketball team to be in the spot that they are in right now. Coming in to this season, NOBODY gave them a chance to be anything special. Well they proved alot of people wrong but obviously if they don't play perfect every single game the answer is obvious. We should just fire the coach bench all the starters. But no go ahead and tell us again why we suck.

I'll admit that I was someone who was ready to move on from Brownell a couple years ago, and I was especially ready after last season. With that said, this season has been great, and he deserves a ton of credit for that. We're #11 in the country, 2nd in the ACC, and well on our way to making the NCAA tourney. So we lost a game on the road that we were favored to lose in the first place, and now that's proof that Brownell will never succeed?
Losing an 18 point lead is frustrating, but it's not like we lost it in the final 5 minutes of the game or anything. Teams go on runs in basketball, and coming back from 18 down at home with 18 minutes to go isn't exactly an unheard of event. I think our team actually showed a lot of character in fighting and nearly winning the game after FSU had stormed back with several minutes left in the game. It felt for awhile there that FSU was going to take control and run away with the game in regulation.

He didn't cause a single turnover. When you don't take care of the ball especially on the road you lose. Home court in the ACC is big advantage. I don't blame the coaches. or the refs. Or the floor. Or anything but 20 turnovers because we didn't take care of the ball. Hats off to FSU. They didn't surrender.
