Syracuse at NC State tomorrow night (tonight)

Is NC State(-4) surprising to anybody, or do you think its about right? The game is in Raleigh, but State is 0-2 against Power 5 teams (losing @ WVU by 17 and @ FSU by 18), with wins over ECU, Ball State, and Western Carolina. They do seem to play better at home though.

I heard the other day that Devito is banged up.
He is planning to play, but I'm sure that is pushing the line toward NC State a little.

Nancy will probably win this. They have some good players albeit young players! If Devito is banged up Carter-Finley Stadium at night is no place for a back up to get into the mix.
Wolfies will be hungry after losing last week to a much improved FSU team!

The NC State resume isn't impressive, but what has Syracuse done that's any better? They lost by 43 to Maryland, and by 35 to Clemson. Their 3 wins are over Liberty, Western Michigan, and Holy Cross. They only led 38-33 entering the 4th quarter against Western Michigan, and gave up 557 yards in the process.

I think the Fighting Doerens are less likely to screw this game up and will win by default.

This one is hard to pick due to unknowns at QB for both teams. Will Scuse's QB be able to stay in the whole game and Nancy is starting a new QB, will he get the passing game going for once this season...
