Syracuse QB out against Clemson

Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse football starting quarterback Eric Dungey will not play in Saturday's game against No. 1 Clemson because of a head injury suffered late in last week's 41-17 loss at Louisville.

"He wasn't ready to go," Syracuse coach Scott Shafer said on his weekly radio show Thursday night on TK 99.5. "We were prepared for that."

It means Zack Mahoney will make his second start of the season.

Dungey is one of seven players who will not be available for the matchup against the Tigers, which kicks at 3:30 p.m. at the Carrier Dome.

Yep, good thing for us is that means we have footage of him against a quality opponent, not just a small FCS team. ;)

Have good footage of the new QB after Saturday's game . It'll be with him flat on his back with the numbers 10,44 & 90 imprinted on his chest .

Syracuse doesn't really have a "best shot". Course I'm just a fan. I'm not on the practice field trying to get ready for the game.
