Cuse Fan here, a decent overview for where to eat, drink, etc...in Syracuse this weekend.

For Sportsmen, about 30 mins north is the Village of Pulaski. The Salmon are starting to run. 30lbs fish all over the place.

What is/was the name of the place that is supposed to have the best hot dogs around? I think it's in Liverpool or near there. I'm not planning to go there for a hot dog, but was thinking about it the other day and my memory is not what it used to be.

The 'Cuse on the Quad event begins at 4 p.m. That’s a Syracuse-run tailgate with free admission that has been upgraded over the past two seasons in the Shaw Quad. Ask anyone on campus how to get there or follow the crowds.

Along with having food available for purchase, the event will include music by country musician Eric Chesser, a display with the American Football Coaches Association, a chance to meet former All-American Dwight Freeney and televisions with other football games on them.

Also, once you’ve gone through screening, they allow you to go in and out of the dome during the game for fresh air in these areas. Each person entering the stadium is also allowed to bring two unopened bottles of water in anticipation of the packed house & stuffiness lol.
