Sugar Bowl Help

I ordered 2 tickets through IPTAY. I assume that I got them as I do have enough points accumulated to be eligible. I received an email showing the point values but my CC has not been charged yet.

Questions...

1) When will we know for sure that we have the tickets?

2) Where is everyone staying? I saw the packages on Tigernet but two nights is like $2300 for 2 people.

Any thoughts? Thanks for any advice you could give.

I live in New Orleans, so let me give you some quick info. Most hotels by the convention center and Harrah's casino are going to be a pretty far walk from the dome (probably a cab ride). It does look like most activities will be near the convention center area, so that's probably the place to be.

Also, if you are willing to drive to all events, you could get a hotel in Metairie (a nearby suburb) and save some money. It's a 10-15 minute drive to the dome from there.

I am staying in Metairie at the Windham. It was $130 a night vs $400 around the casino. Well worth a few cab or Uber rides IMO.

I may have an extra room (1 king) for the night of Jan 1st (day of the game) that I may no longer need. It is located near the French Quarter. If you are planning on going to NOLA for several days, you’ll have to sort those nights out separately. Tmail me if you are interested.

To answer:

As long as you qualified per IPTAY email---you'll get them. I would anticipate you getting charged very soon. You get tickets the week of Dec. 18.

Most ppl will probably be staying near FQ/Business District--but it is expressive. Further away from the quarter you go, the cheaper it gets
