We could lose one or more to a bigger or different job elsewhere.

I remember one of the things that has broken up great teams and/or coaching staffs has been to win the ultimate goal..and bam, that perfect entity is splintered and that sterling group is no more on the same splendid Hill.

replaced coaches before...Hobby, Brooks, Morris...and each time we've stayed as good or gotten better. Dabo is 5 steps ahead of everybody else. He already knows who the next OC and DC are going to be, as well as the position coaches.

And let's not forget the biggest upgrade of all, he went and got Brent Venables to replace Kevin Steele. I love all our coaches, but Venables leaving is the only one that concerns me, and that's not happening any time soon, if ever.

Just remember, a lot of the coaches are just like us, Clemson grads. It’s a lot easier to stay at Clemson for them. Money isn’t everything, but outside noise from Clemson fans is.
