Students back on campus?

I'm hearing different things. Are the students back on campus or not? I know classes are all virtual for now.

My student is back in Clemson living off campus and has five classes. One was an online class even before Covid, the other four were supposed to be face to face. Now two of those professors have decided that their class will be online the entire semester. I have issues with this but the big one is that two of the classes are 15 minutes apart, supposedly in the same building and now one is evidently going online for the semester. The students can't get from home to class or class to home in 15 minutes!

This semester will be a challenge for all students...

as well as any other institution. They may not have disseminated the information out to us mere mortals, but they do seem to have a plan. And, let's all be real here a minute, this Covid situation is about as fluid from day to day as anything ANYONE has ever encountered. If a vaccine suddenly appears, everybody's plans are scrapped or at least changed significantly, again overnight.

I hope you're right. Even if there is a vaccine, I expect this whole Covid-19 thing to be dragged out another year at least. Too bad... the kids are the ones suffering the most from a virus that affects them the least.
