Struggling with the pass

It seems like were not getting the ball out fast enough on throws down field. I don't know if it's the pass blocking, the routes were running or quarterback error but something is wrong with the passing game. Why are we struggling?

Playcalling... everything seems vertical or down the line of scrimmage..rolling pocket to Trevor’s right occasionally would be nice imo

We are a finesse running team that uses it to set up the over 50 yard runs.

Pass Blocking needs to improve... OL needs to hold their blocks and some of it appears to be missed assignments...

I can see everybody is getting pressure on our quarterback. That's a fact if you score 63 or 163. This is a message board and the question is legitimate. Grow up.

Our OL appears to struggle at times in our passing game against a good defense. We will need them to step it up when we play the big boys. We will have to stretch the field with the down field pass to win. GO TIGERS

Seems like the ideal time to bring it up. I would think after such a blowout win guys like you could handle the discussion and maybe provide some intelligent feedback. I was wrong.

You dont think pass protection is in issue? Do you watch or go to the games?
Main reason we should be running it as much as we can is the pass blocking. I believe it's the main reason you so many short throws, the inability to pass block.

We sure did , but with a different OL we could have gone over a thousand and stuff .
This OL man ... I don't know what is going on with Caldwell's group but our team's offense is inside the top 10 in just about every statistic they measure and if we could produce across the OL maybe we could be #1 in everything .... and stuff .
Right now our OL couldn't keep a first grader out of the bathroom .
And stuff.
