Stop WHINING - Reality Check

I keep hearing the same things...
-"we're winning IN SPITE of qb play"
-"thank God we have a DEFENSE"
-"we only have HALF a team"
-"Cole stoudt needs to quit the team now" <-actual TNET post I saw today
...not to mention the arguments on Cole Stoudt pumpers and all that crap
We all know that Deshaun Watson is our best quarterback. He is currently INJURED.
Cole Stoudt is a stop gap until DW returns in a few weeks. Like it or not, he gives
us the best chance to win among our remaining QB's and he is BUSTING HIS A$$ for his team
to be successful - and he's doing it with the world against him right now. You can whine
about it and point out how bad Cole is and how he stares down receivers and runs too much,
etc. - OR you can be a REAL tiger fan and realize this team is BATTLING through a tough
stretch without our best QB, and IN SPITE OF THAT, we are still WINNING GAMES.
And I keep hearing people say.. "thank God we have a defense" likes thats a BAD thing.
We haven't had a defense this good in YEARS and you still find a way to complain. You should
be proud we have one of the best defenses in the country that can win games for us. Our QB is
out and they've been there when we needed them.
The last several years our team has struggled winning close, tough, gritty, defensive games
and the last three weeks we have won those types of games in the 4th quarter. Be PROUD. Be
part of this family and stop being a sunshine patriot.
Stop missing the forest for the trees.

The reality is our depleted offense scored 16 pts, yes. (See original post)
The reality is our defense allowed 170 total yards.
The reality is we won. 5 straight.
You're that guy that wins the lottery and can't enjoy it because you didn't get the powerball.

as we have sustained this season would be severely hampered on offense. I'm impressed that our offense has been able to do enough to score the points needed to win games. Obviously that wouldn't be enough to win any of the last three games without the defense we have this year. This defense has grown into a special group. The best I've seen since I was in school in the late 80's.
When we get some key players back on offense, especially at QB and OL, we will return to being the dominant offense we were earlier in the season.

As Dabo said at Tigerama... enjoy the journey.
Clemson football is where we used to dream it would be. Don't miss the fun of all these wins, and the talent and depth we have, because you find something to complain about. I remember losing to UNC years ago on homecoming, when Julius Peppers had his way with us, and thinking on the drive home 'I wonder what it would be like to go to every game all year KNOWING you could win?' ....THAT IS WHERE WE ARE TIGERS AND IT IS, as Tony the Tiger says, GREEEEAAAATTT!

When I see so many posters dumping on the way they have won games, questioning everything Dabo and company do etc, I ask myself, what would the most revered coach at CU, Danny Ford think about the Syracuse win? Those of us old enough to remember may just think he would have called that game the exact same way. Yeah there were turnovers, got it, but playing to what you can actually DO on offense and on 4th down, punting isn't always a bad Series, and the way the D was playing, why would you not want to play the field position game. A lot of us are old enough to recall winning a lot of close games by Defense and Kicking Game. It wasn't exactly Wide Receiver U around Tiger Town back then for sure. We got what we got. If I could support with Hatfield and West, Im still ALL IN!
