Is he playing DE or DT and why haven't we herd his name I thought he was a big time recruit?

composite 3* DE, but big enough to grow into DT if needed. He did enroll early a year ago, but I haven't seen his name.

It was interesting actually....ESPN had him as essentially a top 100 player nationally...they were an outlier though.

At about 300 pounds, I doubt he is a DE for us.

But, he's only moving into his redshirt freshman season. Given the talent we have at DT, it's probably going to be another year or two before we hear much from him.

is RSFr. Long way to go in his career. In fact Vic Beasley was around a little while as well and people didn't even know what position he would play.

He wasn't THAT big time out of high school. Tennessee told him no so he came to us. We're just historically deep at DT, and he's just a redshirt Freshman so it'll be some time, same with Cervenka.

He was 6'5 288 coming our of Clayton Highschool, Clayton, NC
He was ranked #108 in Espn 300
He had 22 offers including Alabama, Ohio State, FSU, Penn State and Texas
I'm amazed we haven't heard anything about him. Clayton isn't that far from my house and he was a very big deal around here when he was being recruited.
Some of the services had him at 3 stars....but most of the big programs offered him.
I hope he's doing well. He is one big dude.

He's a fixer upper. May not see anything out of him until his redshirt junior season, which I'm 100% OK with. Not everybody can be a Christian Wilkins or Big Dex and come in and compete from day one.
