Man this guy was a amazing, what an imagination. I loved reading his comics, and looking at the art he created.
I don’t think he was surrounded by the best people his last few years, very sad. RIP

My roommate my freshman year at Clemson was a great artist/sketcher and loved Spiderman and other Stan Lee comic books. One summer he and a buddy drove up (Chicago I think) and got a meeting with him. Said he was a good guy!

I dated Stan’s assistant when I lived in Los Angeles. Stan was awesome. He lived longer than his teammate, Jack kirby, who was his original illustrator and co-writer. Jack originally created a lot of the characters we love today. Stan got most of the credit. He deserves a lot of it but don’t forget about Jack. RIP Marvel Comic icons!
