Stadium seating in Death Valley

I saw a comment in another thread mentioning adding stadium seating to Death Valley. In other words, instead of bleachers there would be individual "chairs" with a fold down seat. Something like this:
Advantages of this would be increased comfort as well as a defined, protected seat space.
Disadvantages of this are (likely) increased cost of a ticket, as well as a reduced seating capacity.
How would you feel about Death Valley going to such a setup?

Nahh. Then they’ll become horribly sun bleached like Tiger Field where they refuse to do anything about. Clemson doesn’t need to down grade to be like UNC

Those look like what Louisville has. It appeared on tv all their seats are like that. I'm sure their red will fade quickly and look awful. Plus do you run the risk of finger tips being lost like with Mr Mays at UGa?

It provides more room for each ticket holder and makes for a more comfortable experience.

I have discussed this issue with the IPTAY folks on several occasions and have been told that it will not happen because of the lost seating that would take place. So we need to get accustomed to the fat lady sitting beside us taking up two spaces! I don’t like it!

At some point, it's unreasonable to continue asking fans for more money, but continue to provide a seating experience like what you get for free at any youth football game.

Haven’t you herd? We’re all too FAT for these loungers except for that one superdutche CrossFit gheymen. While we were swilling beer with loose chics at CU and eating fourth meal he was doing hot yoga.

To have such a demand for seating but it really is a problem too. I was told that putting a backrest railing on all the benches was carefully examined but it was decided that such a move would hamper leg room. Which it likely would. For me, I’m not especially fond of the rental seats that are available to us all. Bottom line, putting 50 fans in a row with 48 seats never works! Keep complaining. I intend to keep asking.

That was when I was sitting near several overweight people in the row. They took up 2 seats each and wasn’t fair for other people in the row.

Me as well Mr.Bell. I had very good seats on the twenty yard line in the south stands that I gave up because I couldn’t have this overly large fan sitting on my leg every game!

I’m in favor. Every single game someone tries to squeeze us by bringing people that aren’t supposed to be there. Once a fight broke out in front of us over it. Grown men acting like teenagers. We purchase seat backs for every game as that helps but it’s always an issue. Really liked them at the Fiesta Bowl so that’s a good example.
