Oh man, that's some scary news..............

Mar 7, 2006, 10:45 AM

they're putting Gaddis back at corner.....for now! I really hate to say this but Gaddis really frightens me at corner. I know the coaches will coach him up and move him if necessary, but he REALLY looked lost out there last year.I knew this was going to be a vunerable position for us but was hoping someone else would step it up. There's still plenty of time. I don't think I'm "Ford brothers" nervous quite yet!

Last year Gaddis was a safety - he was a corner 2 years ago.

So, the last time we saw him at corner he was a redshirt freshman. His redshirt year he was at QB. So before you throw him under the bus, lets let him spend more than 6 months learning the position.

True on the cb 2 years ago, but I imagine you also watched him at safety? Look, no bus intended. Its just that I was hoping that we had some natural corners that had stepped it up...that's all! Gaddis just seemed very reluctant to play in the secondary and his play the last few years, IMHO, has reflected that attitude.

Don't forget we have some young talent coming in this fall.

I'm not hanging hopes on true freshmen, but Miller was the man from day 1...hopefully, with all the talent arriving at corner we'll be ok.

I'm gonna give CJ all the confidence in him I can. He is a

I think in 04 he backed up Justin Miller, at corner and I thought @ Miami he didn't look that bad. So maybe this will be a better fit.
