Spectrum Price Increase

A couple of years ago I dropped TW/Spectrum TV, but kept phone and internet at a price of $90.98/mo...... $70.99 for internet and $19.99 for voice. I got my Spectrum bill today and noticed that it had increased by $4 to $94.98. I called Spectrum's billing department and was told that internet pricing had been increased by $4.00 and after some conversation was told that there was nothing billing department could do about it, but they transferred me to customer service where I asked if there were any new deals I could take advantage of and lower my bill.

I was told that there was nothing that could be done about the internet increase, but they could lower my voice charges by $10.00/month. I asked how long that price would be honored and they said at least a year and unless something drastic changed, it would not be increased at all.

It's not much, but the effort turned a $4.00 increase into a $6.00 decrease in my monthly bill. If you see a similar increase, it might be worthwhile to check.

I found the customer service guy to be extremely helpful and polite.

I’m not wasting my time and quibbling over $4 a month. Maybe you can donate your $6 a month savings to Tnet and quit being a cheap freeloader.
